This small dish was made fresh off the artist's first trip to Karatsu, Japan. The rim has been altered into a soft square shape, inspired by the irregular, asymmetrical forms common in Karatsu ware.
As each piece is handmade, subtle variations in colour, texture, shape and finish are inherent to its character and make every piece unique. If you would like to select a piece based on these individual variations, pieces can be selected in person at our physical store.

Care and Maintenance To preserve the beauty and longevity of the ceramic, hand washing with a soft cloth or sponge and mild detergent is recommended. Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads or sudden temperature changes, which may damage the surface. With proper care, the cups will continue to bring refinement to the table for years to come.
