波 nami, a body of work by tingpottery, is inspired by movements in nature that encourage a stillness in time. Stemming from the artist’s time spent by the sea, the collection aims to embody the rhythmic ebb and flow of the waves, bringing about a sense of calm in the moment. The wares are wheel-thrown with their rims altered to create soft curves reminiscent of waves.
These dinner and sharing plates are crafted with communal dining in mind, drawing on the artist's own experiences growing up in an Asian household, where meals were often shared.
As each piece is handmade, subtle variations in colour, texture, shape and finish are inherent to its character and make every piece unique. If you would like to select a piece based on these individual variations, pieces can be selected in person at our physical store.

Care and Maintenance To preserve the beauty and longevity of the ceramic, hand washing with a soft cloth or sponge and mild detergent is recommended.
